I am  a small, home-based kennel, located in Northern California.  I was first introduced to silken windhounds by a co-worker in 2008.  She took me to some local dog races, where I got to see these lovely, elegant, athletic hounds up close.  It was not too long before the idea to own, raise and race these "blithe spirits" became a reality.  Their grace-in-motion, their happy faces, their easy-going temperaments captivated my heart.  
  I have had dogs in my life since I was a child.  They have always been special friends.  I have had many different breeds of dogs, but with the Silken Windhounds, I feel like my "journey" has ended.  This breed will be an integral part of the rest of my life.
  These hounds are very versatile: as therapy dogs, agility competitors, straight and oval-track racing, lure coursing,  jogging/walking companions or just being a couch buddy.  
  I am committed, as a breeder, to producing sound, balanced dogs.  My dogs are intended to be members of a family--your family.
